Rachel Lastra's stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Okay Donkey, Tiny Molecules, Barrelhouse, Smokelong Quarterly, Apparition Lit, and other places. Her work was highly commended in the 2023 Bridport Flash Fiction Prize and a finalist in the 2023 Flash Frog flash fiction contest. She spent most of her life in California but currently lives in the Pacific Northwest with her family.
